Here at Salem Reformed Church, we take the Christian Education of our young and old very seriously. Proverbs 22:6 tells us, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it."

We may also think upon the verses of Scripture found in Ephesians 6:1-4, "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 'Honor your father and mother' - which is the first commandment with a promise - 'that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.'  Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord."

Our Children's Sunday School classes begin in the Fall on the 1st Sunday after Labor Day and continue through the last Sunday of May.  Sunday School classes begin at 9:30 a.m. with worship service following at 10:30 a.m. Children may begin attending Sunday School if they turn 3 years of age by September.  We offer classes for each grade level all the way through high school. At the present time, we have two adult classes (younger and older) that also meet during the Sunday School hour.

Our Sunday School Program is coordinated by the Christian Education Committee, which meets throughout the year as necessary. The CE Committee hosts two pot-luck dinners each year.  One on Sunday School Kick-Off in the Fall and the other at the close of our Vacation Bible School program in the Spring.
